Becky Manos, a 13-year Roslindale resident, became the new head Librarian at the Roslindale Branch in September 2014. The 21-year BPL veteran received her Masters of Library and Information Science from Simmons. She also has a Masters of Early Childhood Education. She comes to the Roslindale branch from the Parker Hill branch, where she has worked for 13 years. When this mother of three is not at the library, look for her shopping with her husband or her daughter, hanging out with friends at Starbucks, or busy at church. We caught up with her by email a few weeks ago.

One year after I start, the branch will: have a monthly book discussion group.
