Join us when Amy Ryan, president of the Boston Public Library (BPL), gives the Roslindale community an update on the “State of the BPL” at the annual meeting of the Friends of the Roslindale Branch Library. Learn about renovation plans at the branch, meet new branch librarian Becky Manos and learn about volunteer opportunities with the Friends.

Children in grades 4-8 can learn and experience hip hop, salsa, ballet and other forms of dance in this weekly program.
Preschool Movies

Arte Y Cultura Hispana
Mondays, 2:30-4:30pm
Children ages 4-12 can learn about Spanish artists and have a chance to try their art techniques at this program with Maria Conte. Basic Spanish words are also taught.
English Conversation Group
Thursdays, 6-7:30pm; Saturdays, 10:30am-12pm
Practice your English at these free, drop-in conversation groups open to speakers at all levels.
Book Donations Needed
Keep the Friends in mind as you do your spring cleaning. Good quality children’s, young adult, current fiction and current non-fiction all needed for our annual book sale from May 14 to May 16. Donations may be dropped at the library during business hours.
