Buy a Book, Donate a Book!
In addition to the outdoor book sales we host in the community, we also sell books year round in the Roslindale library rotunda! These books are refreshed regularly. The sale there is on the honor system with payments made in a small wooden box on one of the shelves. All payments go towards sponsoring library programs, such as LEGO Club, Day of the Dead and Posada celebrations, the library renovation project and other community events.
Consider donating gently used books now for future sales and give them a new home. Current fiction and nonfiction selections are most in demand. We would like: history, new fiction, art books, children’s books. Please, no encyclopedias, out-of-date books abou computers, travel, etc. Donations can be dropped off at the Roslindale Library during business hours.
Support the Roslindale Library Renovation Project!
We are running a letter writing campaign to make sure our elected officials keep the Roslindale Library renovation project on target by writing emails to them. We have already written the letter for you. All you have to do is fill in your contact information and click to send, or edit the letter to send a more personalized message. For more information about the project and how you can get involved, go to friendsofroslindalelibrary.org/renovation.
