The First Renovation Community Meeting Notes
The Roslindale Branch Library hosted BPL leadership, project architects Leers Weinzapfel and approximately 70 community members for an exciting public meeting that marked the kick-off to our branch's design and renovation process on October 17. The meeting gave the audience an opportunity to offer feedback on the Leers Weinzapfel presentation and to make additional design suggestions.
The Leers presentation is available here. Please note that the project timeline is outlined on pages 43-47 of the presentation. The next meeting is planned for early December, but the date has not been finalized.
Please continue to send your suggestions to Priscilla Foley ([email protected]). We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting.

Holiday Shopping with the Friends!
If you do any shopping on Amazon this holiday season, please consider registering with the Friends' AmazonSmile account. For eligible purchases at AmazonSmile, the Friends will receive 0.5 percent of the purchase price. There is no additional cost to the Friends or to AmazonSmile customers. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for donation” on their product detail pages. The shopping experience is identical to Amazon.com with the added benefit that the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate that percentage to the Friends! The percentage might seem minuscule, but this adds up if you are a regular Amazon customer who makes purchases several times a week or month, especially during the holidays.
Of course, if you just want to donate directly to the Friends, you can do so on our donation page or become a Friends member. Every dollar and cent counts!
Photos & Video From Dia de Los Muertos 2017

Thanks to La Piñata, Lucy Galvan, and Alejandro Rodriguez for putting the event together! Check out our slideshow and video from Saturday's celebration on our blog.

You can also find a slideshow from our reception on our blog.

Please view the job descriptions on VolunteerMatch. If you are interested in any of the positions, contact us at [email protected].
