Photos From Roslindale’s Newest Small Libraries
The Friends recently worked with Akasha Yoga and Fornax Bakery to install small libraries in their establishments. Here are some pictures of what they look like. The next time you are in the studio or the bakery, make sure to pick up a book!
This is a great way to promote literacy and a love of reading by way of creating a free book exchange and a sense of community. The Friends of the Roslindale Branch Library would be willing to work with businesses and organizations in Roslindale interested in installing a bookcase, no matter how big or small, and who are dedicated to managing the flow of books. For more information about bookcase installation, contact Laura Gang at [email protected].
Books of the Month
Each month we feature themed book lists grouped for adults, teenagers/young adults and children, and can be borrowed from the Roslindale Library!
Books about Vacations
There is still time to go on vacation this summer – both literally and figuratively. Even if you can’t go anywhere this year, you can still read about other people’s vacations! Here is a list of books about vacations and traveling of all kinds.
